Claude Goes Mobile Anthropic Releases AI Chatbot on iOS

Mobile users can now access the cutting-edge AI capabilities of Anthropic’s Claude with the release of a new app for iOS. The app, available for free to all Claude users, promises a seamless experience similar to using a mobile browser.

One of the app’s standout features is its “vision capabilities,” which allow users to upload images and receive real-time analysis, contextual understanding, and mobile-centric use cases on the go. According to Anthropic, early testers have found the app particularly useful for brainstorming ideas, obtaining quick answers, and analyzing real-world scenes and images.

In addition to the iOS app, Anthropic has introduced a new subscription tier called the “Team plan” for business teams utilizing Claude. Priced at $30 per user per month with a minimum of five users required, this plan offers increased chat capabilities with Claude and access to the full Claude 3 model family tailored for various purposes.

One key feature of the Team plan is the “200k context window”, which enables users to process long documents like legal contracts or research papers on the AI model to extract valuable insights. Anthropic plans to roll out additional collaboration features in the coming weeks, including citations from reliable sources to verify AI-generated claims, integrations with data repositories, and the ability for colleagues to collaborate on AI-generated projects while upholding top-notch security standards.

Amidst its rapid growth, Anthropic is also expanding its global presence by establishing an office in Dublin, marking its first office in the EU. Backed by tech giants like Google and Amazon, the company’s AI capabilities have gained significant attention in the industry.

With the iOS app’s release and the Team plan’s introduction, Anthropic is making Claude more accessible and feature-rich for both individual users and business teams. The blend of frontier intelligence and mobile convenience is poised to bring a new level of productivity and innovation to users across the globe.
